the ceremony
The ceremony will take place at midday, 12 o’clock noon, on Friday 21st November, 2025, at:
Saint Nicholas’ Church of Ireland
3 Market Place, Carrickfergus, BT38 7FF

There is a paid car park just outside the church, on Lancasterian Street, which accepts cash (£ sterling) or the JustPark app,
otherwise feel free to park in the free car park at Carrickfergus Castle, a two minute walk from the church.
the Reception
The reception will follow immediately after, taking place at:

Plus ones will only be permitted if their names are specified on the invitation.
There is ample car parking space at the venue, and it is fully accessible for those with mobility issues.
There will be canapés and drinks on arrival, followed by an evening meal and dancing.

There is limited accommodation onsite for close family and the bridal & groom’s party, however there are many pleasant hotels and guest houses located nearby:

the dress code
Men, morning suits are optional and encouraged, otherwise please wear a jacket and tie (not black tie / tuxedos).
Ladies, please wear whatever kind of dress you are comfortable in.
Please remember that this is a winter wedding, so if you are likely to be going to our outdoor areas during the evening and you are liable to feeling chilly, you may want to bring something to keep warm!
the gift registry
We appreciate that many guests are travelling a long way for our wedding,
so please do not feel obligated to bring us any gifts; your presence on this day is all we ask for, and it is very much appreciated.
the little ones
Children are, of course, permitted at our wedding, provided they have been named on your invitation.
High chairs, if required, will be provided and seated beside the parents at the tables. Just let us know in the R.S.V.P. form if you will need one.
For those with young children staying in the onsite accommodation, travel cots will be provided, however the parents must bring their own bedding for their children.
A small, quiet area with some toys will also be provided for young children and their parents, should anyone need a break from socialising.
